Men [leasuring Themseles

ALL THE SOLITUDE OF PRIME NUMBERS

Alice is seven years old and hates the ski school, but her father forces her to go. It 's a morning fog, you have cold milk for breakfast and the weight on my stomach. On top of the chairlift is separated from his companions and, hidden in the mist, where does it on him. For the shame he decided to go down alone, but goes out of track, breaking his leg. Left alone, unable to move, at the bottom of a canyon of snow, wondering if there are wolves in winter.
Matt is a smart kid with a retarded sister, Michelle. The constant presence of his sister humiliates Matt in front of his peers. For this, the first time a classmate invites them both to his party, Matt decides to leave Michael in the park, with the promise that she will soon return.
These two initial episodes, with their irreversible consequences, the brand will be branded in the lives of Alice and Mattia, adolescents, young adults and finally. Their lives, so deeply marked, incrocerannno and you will find two protagonists closely together and yet irresistibly divided. Like those special numbers, which mathematicians call first twins: the first two numbers separated by a single even number, but close enough to touch indeed. This novel is painful and moving story of Alice and Matt, and the characters who assist them in their path. Duke touches with sleek look and deep, with a surprising firmness and maturity of writing, a substance that burns to its emotional implications. It gives readers a novel capable of shaking as an alternative to moments of toughness and relentless tension and restraint scenes rarefied emotion, full of tenderness and tough forlorn hope.
